Carolyn
I am Dr. Durrett’s clinical orthodontic assistant, so I can be found working with her during our patients’ procedures. It’s wonderful to get to know all of our patients and learn about what’s going on in their lives. We all work hard to create a comfortable, cozy atmosphere so our patients enjoy their time here. I was born in Puerto Rico but was raised in New York. When I’m not in the office I like to watch movies, go to the beach, and hanging out with my family!

I am our office manager, and it is my responsibility to make sure everything runs smoothly for Dr. Durrett. Since I work in the reception area, I'm usually the first person patients meet when they enter our office. I feel it is important to always greet everyone with a friendly smile and enthusiasm. I admire Dr. Durrett's determination to achieve the very best results for each patient. My husband, Steve, and I have two daughters, Danielle and Callista. I enjoy biking, rollerblading, and volunteering at my children’s school.

I recently graduated from Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA) and Dr. Durrett hired me while I was on externship in her office. I felt welcomed and confident in my decision on pursuing my career in the dental field. Having the opportunity to see the change in a person's smile and their confidence is the best part of my job. I am the mother of two bright little girls that keep me on my toes. I enjoy watching them play soccer with their father who also has been my best friend for 8 years.
